Among the material devastation to everyday people, Senate Dems have now blown a hole in their ability to work with the House.

We had an agreed upon plan, House took immense risk, then Senate turned around midway and destroyed it w/ a fear-based, inexplicable abdication.

They own what happens next.

The violence of liberalism is often found in compliance with existing, or even theoretical future violence. Suggesting that the annexation of a sovereign nation is some kind of policy blunder to be resolved at the ballot box would be laughable if it didn't rhyme with the appeasements of the 30's

One thing plaguing American media is a sizable portion of editors at prestigious outlets think a bad piece with a bad argument that gets a lot of criticism is a good thing.

It’s getting attention!
It shows the publication isn’t biased!

Publishing bad work that’s poorly received makes them proud.

The Democrats’ Choice: Fight Trump’s Oligarchy or Keep Groveling to Billionaire Donors

Hell yeah. Hold the line. This is what we need people to do.

Slow things down, don’t comply in advance so the courts have time to stop them. It’s starting to work.
Received a letter from POTUS today purporting to remove me as Commissioner and Chair of the FEC. There's a legal way to replace FEC commissioners-this isn't it. I've been so fortunate to serve the American people and stir up some good trouble along the way. That's not changing anytime soon.

The DeepSeek announcement from China has been called by some AI’s “Sputnik moment” for America.

It’s precisely why I made AI a top priority in the last Congress and will keep at it.

I think some people in the US are regrettably going to touch the stove. Some wished for it, some did not. There's not much we can do about it. We should do all we can so we are not forced to touch the stove too, or to make our encounter with the stove as brief and painless as possible.

Just like the “male loneliness epidemic” the imbalance in men going to college is entirely their own doing. A whole generation has decided to make themselves uneducated and unfuckable because they’re addicted to resentment. Manosphere influencers line their pockets by ensuring they stay that way.
i hate to be a monocausal guy but i really think this discussion of masculinity, trade school, the gendering of education etc is beating around the bush. male democrats have seen no sizable drop in their desire to attend college. female republicans have. it’s about politics.
