The advancements we could make of people had even an ounce of free energy & time is significant. "But no one will want to work!" Untrue, & study after study shows that. We love to be useful & contribute to community. I work in customer service if possible. No one wants to be taken advantage of.
"But then you won't have to work for anything!"

Whether or not you can have a house and education and Healthcare shouldn't be based on how hard you work. Human rights are unconditional, that's why they're called rights. Plus no one is as lazy as a billionaire, and we reward them *constantly*.

Life Update: @ticketmaster is the absolute worst.

Due to a very common technical issue on their side, I'm locked out of my account and spent the last many hours trying to fix it with them with phone calls, emails back and forth, and my own tech knowledge to no avail.

They're going to kill Libby and all your other library book reading apps, programs funded by Congress which the administration (and certainly not Elon or his teen Nazi psychopath goons) has no power to shut down.

Maybe a day to call all your reps again and to demand action

This vote was to start the process of the cuts. It WILL come back for a final vote.

There are some chances to slow or potentially stop it. Need constant pressure on GOP

Focus on GOP swing seats & key committees. Energy & Commerce is where the Medicaid fight will go down. Ways&Means for tax fight.
@aoc.bsky.social
Please explain what just happened. Is there no way to stop this w the reconciliation to be used by GOP to get around the filibuster? Are we sunk?

Holy shit.
‼️ The National Park Service has REMOVED mentions of transgender people being involved with Stonewall. Not only did the remove the world "Transgender" but changed "LGBTQ+" to "LGBQ+".

The federal government is attempting to erase us and take away our history.

This pride, we riot.

A week ago I dropped my new two-player game, WAYFARER 1.

It's about the lonesome fate of Voyager 1! It's also about the frailty of communication in the face of increasing distance. If you've played my other games you'll be like "yeah that tracks."

It's here: bannerless.games/wayfarer1
I've just published WAYFARER 1, a two-player game.

As Wayfarer 1, you explore the vastness of space as your equipment slowly fails. As Mission Control, you fight mission compromise to keep the connection open.

Make it last as long as you can.

Seriously, creative folks: Don't be afraid to let people know your stuff is out there for them, or worry that "now is not the time for that." People are stressed and freaked out and looking for the things that will give them a moment of rest and joy. It is EXACTLY the time for what we do. Tell them.
