Excuse me, but if someone barges into my house to steal someone or something, that's an invasion. They aren't "occupying" my house, but it is still illegal to barge in like that.

Military forces crossed inside of territorial boundaries without prior agreement.
Military forces attacked structures and killed people.
Military forces exited helicopters on the sovereign soil of Venezuela.

There is no definition where that is not an “invasion”.

Not what they signed up for in their minds.

They signed up to do funding, create bills, try to pass the bills, campaign, meet with lobbyists, and attend events and parties. They signed up to handle paperwork and PR.

Not risk arrest and imprisonment or other forms of retaliation by the president.
