I didn’t want to get anyone’s hopes up until I had her in my hands, but look who made it to us after all.

Her new name is going to be Winter, in honor of how frickin’ cold it is, and a reminder that it’s always coldest just before a season of beautiful rebirth.

Mildred Blount (1907-1974) was a true millinery master who has not always received the recognition that she deserves.
Her creations were loved by celebrities and featured in films such as Gone with the Wind.
