I’ve noticed a big pattern for the past few years how divided the mk fandom is. Sadly a majority are older men with rigid ways of thinking who can’t stand to see any progression past exactly that. A mediocre character with an inflated persona.

Toren He was about ready to give up on sleeping. If the screening hadn’t knocked him out by now, it wasn’t ever going to. The worst of the nausea was passing anyway. It was the Rec who put the final sleepless nail in the coffin with its announcement: “Captain McLellan, please report to med-bay for insurance screening.” He swore at the room generally, adding: “You couldn’t just announce that to the Bridge?” Toren forced his eyes shut again. “Sleep!” Two minutes later he huffed loudly and gave up. Flicking the little blue blanket off of himself, he swung his legs over the edge of the bed and stretched. Bright side, the dizzy shit had stopped. Mostly. Grabbing his flight suit, he heaved himself into it, ran a hand through his thinning greasy hair and regretted that he didn’t have any smokes left. His rations had finally run out.
