This is in line with a thing I noticed. If you start calling out bad behavior it gets easier to keep doing it. When I started I got easily flustered when patrons would get aggressive with me.

Now I roll my eyes and restate policy and actively remove problem patrons with little heartrate increase.

Hey, so something I've learned while getting more involved with our union is that it is very hard to convince people to go from inaction to extreme action. In fact, it is difficult to go from inaction to a /small/ action. 1/2

There's psychology around this, but tl;dr, ask yourself everyday how you're training yourself to dissent and defy. Because if you can't even be bothered to do the small stuff, those in power know you won't do the big stuff they're actually scared of. 2/2

It doesn’t feel like it, but we’re in an era of uprising and resistance. The horrors and bad news can be overwhelming, but born out of necessity, born out of horror at genocide and disgust with fascism and being fed up with poverty and oppression, people are rising up around the world. In Greece a general strike this week against a 13-hour workday proposal brought the country to a halt. In Nepal a Gen-Z led uprising recently overthrew the government. An August wave of mass protest in Indonesia against corrupt elites shook the system to its core. In Madagascar protests against the government’s inability to provide basic services like water and electricity currently have the President on the verge of stepping down. France is, once again, wracked by huge nationwide protests against austerity.

Okay somewhat decent news.
I actually only owe 3.3k in total and they said they're going to let the courts know I've made payments and we will reach on some kind of payment plan.
So still urgent but slightly less urgent

Well just when I was feeling okay, I got the court hearing notice that I have to pay $5.7k in order to keep my home (not including what I owe already and paid today).

Here's the proof and court is the 16th of October.

I need so much more help than I realized.
