17yo diagnosed with a brain condition. Unbeknownst to me the meds rendered my bc useless. Got pregnant, was told I’d die. Had an abortion.

Asked for tubes to be tied. Was told no. I wasn’t 35, didn’t have 4+ kids & future husband might want kids.

Hypothetical man had more rights over my body…

After 1,000 National Park Service employees were abruptly fired on February 14, staff banded together to signal “dire distress” by draping an upside-down American flag from the 3,000-foot summit of Yosemite’s iconic El Capitan monolith.

Letters went out to federal workers this morning stating they were fired due to poor performance. However, all employees had been rated as “exceptional” performers by their supervisors. Please keep these records and pursue wrongful termination claims. Let the lawsuits begin.

Article I, Section 9 of the Constitution grants Congress the power of the purse through the Appropriations Clause, which states, “No Money shall be drawn from the Treasury, but in Consequence of Appropriations made by Law.” This constitutes a violation of our Constitution.

Requiring passports and birth certificates to register to vote is a gendered administrative burden. As detailed in my article on gendered administrative burden, formal identification is often used to coercively control women and transgendered individuals academic.oup.com/jpart/articl...

Memos have been distributed to instill fear, warning federal employees that layoffs will begin if not enough people accept Elon’s buyout. This no longer feels voluntary.

Donold is blaming a plane crash that killed 67 people on “DEI” with zero evidence.

He is attempting to use racism to deflect from the fact it is HIS fault. He had just removed 100 FAA senior officials.

It’s been 11 days and there are 67 bodies in the Potomac in Washington DC because of him.

Academic institutions in the US need to seriously consider how they will support and protect their minority faculty during this time. The conditions we face are already hostile for most - targeted attacks and added barriers to advancement will push many to simply walk away.

It also meant “service workers seem to be getting a little restless and uppity, they’re asking for raises and able to leave bad jobs and that’s giving me uncomfortable feelings” for a lot of people
"The economy is bad" never meant the economy is bad. It meant "I don't feel as financially secure as I want to be, and it's probably because the government is helping someone else to get ahead instead of me."
As I predicted.. voters views on "the economy" flipped as new administration came in.

Republicans who for years said economy was very/fairly bad... now have MIRACULOUSLY decided the economy is not so bad.
Views flipped right after election, even though underlying economic conditions didn't.
