Be sure to save this for the elections in 33 days.

Just a phenomenal resource for the many, many races on the ballot.

Your Cheat Sheet to the 2025 General Elections - Bolts
Four contests have come to largely define the 2025 elections: the elections to lead New Jersey, Virginia, and New York City, plus California’s redistricting measure. But there’s so much else... Read M...

Lmfao Mike Lawler is such a fucking little bitch.

I can't wait until his district fires his ass next year.
burgessev.bsky.social
Tensions are high: Lawler is getting in the mix now and criticizes Kelly and Gallego for “pontificating”

This is now a two on two cage match

Return rates starting to shift quite a bit in NJ....

Good to see!

Hmm maybe David Axelrod should have worked harder to get Kamala Harris elected instead of bothsidsing on CNN.....just a thought.
chicyph80.bsky.social
Things like this just remind me how fucking fun BlueSky/Twitter elections can be.

Like, if you would have told me 10 years ago I'd be celebrating & analyzing the historical Presidential numbers in freakin' Fairbanks, Alaska....😂😂
chicyph80.bsky.social
Great info! That gets you follow! lol
chicyph80.bsky.social
Best I can find my friend 🤷‍♂️
chicyph80.bsky.social
She’s their first Dem Mayor there in just over a decade. Love to see it! Alaska is a’changin’
chicyph80.bsky.social
So well said. Sorry about that.
chicyph80.bsky.social
I mean I get it that in particular post-Biden, people are super sensitive to age. But I mean you look at Cooper in NC and Brown in OH. They are literally dream candidates. We’ll figure out their age later. Let’s win first!
chicyph80.bsky.social
Yea this is all so well so. I’d give anything to go back to a time where we disagreed, strongly even, but we didn’t want to kill each other.

I’m not convinced it’s possible without big changes, including getting rid of social media & ending the 24/7 news cycle.
chicyph80.bsky.social
This is the way. I’m done with litmus tests and candidate purity.

That shit ain’t winning us races.

Get on board with whoever the nominee is, in every single race. And if there’s a candidate that isn’t your favorite….

KEEP 👏 THAT 👏 SHIT 👏 TO 👏 YOURSELF 👏

I’m blocking anyone who trashes democratic candidates because they aren’t their first choice.

Scoop: Maine Gov. Janet Mills is poised to jump into Maine Senate race
chicyph80.bsky.social
Lmfao literally who would watch a fucking Lee Greenwood halftime show?!!
chicyph80.bsky.social
This is very, very good to see. While he may not be the favorite of many Blueskyer's, Governor Shapiro is insanely popular in PA, amongst basically every demographic of voters.

His doing these types of videos is a big deal.
retaindonohue.bsky.social
We are beyond grateful for the support of our Governor, Josh Shapiro, in this race for retention! As the Governor points out, so much is at stake. Join Governor Shapiro in voting YES to retain PA Supreme Court Justices Christine Donohue, Kevin Dougherty, & David Wecht. #VoteYES ✅✅✅

I’m going to be watching very closely how they respond to the 2025 elections in 4 weeks….
chicyph80.bsky.social
Oh it's going to require blocking out a ton of noise in the meantime for sure. I trust Mainers to choose the best candidate though :)
chicyph80.bsky.social
Hot take maybe but I feel like whoever comes out of that primary is going to be stronger for having done so.
chicyph80.bsky.social
Oh see it’s funny it seems like I’ve thought the opposite. Has the conventional wisdom been that late breakers went to Trump?
chicyph80.bsky.social
And what's interesting is, there is nada showing up on the flight radar.
chicyph80.bsky.social
I will say this, kudos to Manu for pushing back with follow up questions. They normally suck at that.
chicyph80.bsky.social
Yea I kinda had the same question. So the MSG thing wasn’t enough for them but shunning Bad Bunny will be?

Color me skeptical
chicyph80.bsky.social
Yea, I tend to be a pretty run of the mill, risk averse, Centrist Dem, who thinks the country is better with two well-functioning political parties.

And I couldn't disagree with this more. Primary voters in particular are going to demand scalps, unless something drastically changes before 2028.
daveweigel.bsky.social
So, imagine a 2028 that ends with a normal election and a Democratic president.

Does that president punish CBS? Does he kick it out of the Brady room's front row? Does his FCC go after its licenses? Does his FTC probe the Skydance deal?

No, probably not. No fear of reprisal if power shifts back.
gregsargent.bsky.social
Do CBS News executives understand that MAGA will not be in power forever? I genuinely think this is lost on a lot of people. They've gotten scammed by bad actors into believing Trump's 2024 win represented something seismic and even permanent. I predict they'll look back on this as a serious error.
chicyph80.bsky.social
1000%.

I also think the pivot to the general is going to be super interesting because I just don't get the sense that low-information/Indies are going to share that same view but 🤷‍♂️
