I had forgot that I agree with MLS fans that #ProRelForUSA would be bad for soccer in the US.

it really sucks to see the NWSL catapulted into the culture wars but it also feels like a huge sign that the league's strategy of staying quiet and hoping it all goes away doesn't work, both in terms of staying out of hot-button territory & ensuring players' environments are as safe as possible
