After an ICE agent killed Renee Nicole Good, JD Vance quickly said agents have "absolute immunity."

Now, he's trying to convince us he never said that.

Now I’m facing 17 years in prison for standing up to this administration and to ICE. But if they think I’ll back down, they are wrong.

This is pure, unabashed bigotry.

If a politician said this about any other faith, they would rightfully be run out of their party.

But this kind of despicable anti-Muslim rhetoric is so normalized that a sitting Senator uses it without consequence.

A stain on our Congress.

In Maine they were posing as MaineCare staff offering to help (MaineCare=Medicaid). So basically just don’t open your door to anyone if you don’t know them. If they say they are with an org or company, I would call that org/company to verify their starts before opening the door. This is insane. 🤬🤬🤬

In other words, Powell is subject to public accountability for his renovation project, including criminal investigations.
Trump is not. Private money solicited from companies seeking to curry favor. Committees stacked with loyalists.

Accountability for thee, but not for me.
WELKER: Doesn't it undercut the independence of the Fed that the DOJ is investigating renovations? There are renovations at the White House

BESSENT: The renovations at the White House are not more than a billion over budget, and they're being paid for with private funds
