Your Prime Day reminder that half of Amazon warehouse workers struggle with food & housing costs.

A third have had to rely on government assistance like SNAP — which is about to get cut.

If Bezos can spend $50M on a wedding, Amazon can afford to treat its workers with dignity.

The poetic beauty that he just surpassed Thurmond’s record… who held the floor for 24 hrs protesting the Civil Rights Act.
Breaking news: Sen. Cory Booker (D-New Jersey) broke a record Tuesday night for the longest U.S. Senate floor speech of the modern era, surpassing Sen. Strom Thurmond’s 1957 remarks inside the chamber that lasted 24 hours.

So excited that I was able to turn on @booker.senate.gov just as he hit his 24 hr mark. I showed my toddlers and together we all clapped and celebrated this amazing achievement.

Fell asleep with Booker on the floor… woke up and now driving to work and he’s still there… impressive.
Sen. Cory Booker (D-New Jersey) has been speaking on the Senate floor since 7 p.m. Monday, vowing to speak for “as long as I’m physically able” to protest President Donald Trump, Elon Musk and the administration’s policies.

Here’s what to know.
Why did Cory Booker spend the night speaking on the Senate floor?

I’ve taken the Senate floor and will speak for as long as I’m physically able to lift the voices of Americans who are being harmed and not being heard in this moment of crisis. Watch here:

Trump and Elon have been labeling any judge who upholds the law and the Constitution as an activist and arguing that they should be impeached. The Chief Justice of the United States rejected their calls to impeach federal judges who have aggressively pushed back on the administration’s initiatives.

When calling @repjohnnyo.bsky.social I rarely get a voicemail. Often I get a staffer who really listens. This week while almost crying about what is happening at the VA and its impact on people like my dad they offered to put me on a direct reply list.

It may not be cool or hip in some circles, but we legitimately do need a massive amount of people to run for office.

Flood the school boards, councils, county seats, state legislatures, Congress, etc.

Big changes at the top happen when the ground shifts at the bottom. And that can start now.

Rock and roll was created by a Black woman — Sister Rosetta Tharpe.

Known as the Godmother of Rock and Roll, Sister Rosetta Tharpe was a singer, songwriter, and guitarist who served as inspiration for artists like Elvis Presley and Johnny Cash. We honor her as we still feel her influence today.
