A lot of people with names like Pete, Bill, Jane who I don’t know are emailing me to say they have tonsillitis so can’t call but have an urgent need to be in touch. They are of course all thieves. Always delete such cold emails without responding or clicking on any links.

It's rather surreal to be told that a D Notice has been issued to UK press, as UK press.
What do you think they do then, when this happens almost every day for the last 20 months?
But you would not know, as they have issued a D notice to the UK press, to claim the targeting is UKs national security importance, and quell unwanted questions about complicity.
