My legal knowledge on this is pretty rubbish, but can a member be booted from NATO? Otherwise I'd hope you'd be correct, but I'm not optimistic the political will is there, especially with leaders like Starmer. And then there's the practical question of Trump simply ignoring rescinded permission.

I'm aware of the pragmatic realities about going to war with the USA. I'm also aware that it is profoundly likely NATO leaders will not answer militarily (which the USA is hoping for).
But regardless, this should be a wake-up call for Europe to become far closer than it is now.
