I haven’t slept well since I saw photos of the Chicago apartment raid.

Imagine waking up to exlplosions in the middle of the night, being dragged out of bed. When you are “released” hours later your furniture, belongings…gone.

One week ago, Ayman Soliman was released from ICE detention and his legal asylum status was reinstated. Immigration officials concluded that they didn’t have a case for revoking his status as a refugee.
