🚨 How are DOGE cuts impacting your community? Under Musk's leadership, DOGE has implemented sweeping reductions in grants, contracts, and leases. Here’s a new tool I built that identifies grant and lease terminations by congressional district.

Judge: That's what I'll do. Prohibit federalization or deployment of any NG troops into Oregon. For all reasons in prior opinion. Deployment of federalized military is ultra vires and contrary to law, violating Title 10, section 12406. I also find it's likely that defendants violate 10th Amendment.

Soybean farmer: What we need more than anything is access to markets on a level playing field. With the trade war and the tariffs, we're at about a 20% price disadvantage when it comes to what the Chinese have to pay for our soybeans versus the Brazilian soybeans.

Left-leaning pages appear to have handily won the online "shutdown" battle yesterday.

They outpaced right-leaning pages on posts mentioning the "shutdown" and "health care." Their totals on those issues also both surpassed the right's mentions of "immigration."

Trump's deployment of masked federal agents into LA, DC, and Chicago is straight from the authoritarian playbook—just ask the people of Hong Kong and Venezuela.

It’s as clear as day why a shutdown may be happening this week. Here’s Russ Vought, architect of Trump’s 2025 project and the shutdown strategy, arguing that a shutdown government is a good way to pass the bills they want to pass. bsky.app/profile/citi...

I was back at 26 Federal Plaza today, where an ICE agent violently threw this bereft woman to the ground in front of her kids. She had not touched him. She did not pose any threat. She had to be taken to the hospital. (🎥: Elias Eliahu)

Policy changes enacted since the start of the year (One Big Bill and tariffs) will hurt Americans' 2027 incomes on average at every income level by about -$1,500

Except the top 1%. They can expect a +$5,000 income bump

Donald Trump doesn't care about the working class—he is laser-focused on making the 1% richer at our expense.
A graphic with a dark background. The title at the top says, "Only the top 1% of families will see an increase in income under Trump's policies." A bar chart titled "INCOME CHANGE AS A RESULT OF NEW TRUMP POLICIES (2027)" shows the percentage change in income for different quintiles and the top 1%. Red bars show negative income changes for the Bottom 20% (-3.5%), Second 20% (-1.6%), Middle 20% (-1.1%), Fourth 20% (-1.2%), 80%-90% (-0.7%), and 90%-99% (-0.2%). A small yellow bar shows a positive income change for the "Top 1%" (+0.5%), with an annotation above it of "+$5,000." A photo of Donald Trump is in the bottom right corner with the text, "He broke his promise to you so he could give more money to millionaires." Source information is included at the bottom left.

RFK JR: It's going to have a it's going to it's going to be the biggest infusion of federal dollars into rural health care in American history.

SANDERS: You know why? Because you're cutting $150 billion for rural hospitals. You're putting $50 billion back. That's not an infusion.

Great look at an under the radar rural impact of OBBBA.

While it stopped short of including Sen. Lee's proposal to sell off public lands, it axed funding rural communities have relied on since 1908 fueling more public land sell offs.

The MAGA regime is escalating attacks on families at home and abroad, from D.C. to Gaza.

Deploying troops in D.C. is yet another attempt to scapegoat & target struggling people to advance their draconian agenda in service of billionaires, war profiteers, and white supremacy.

Restaurant reservations in DC plunged after Trump announced his takeover. It’s no surprise that rolling out troops into the streets dampens consumer appetite.
