In the last month, Edmonton had its highest, third-highest and fifth-highest EMS dispatches for opioid poisonings on record.

EMS dispatches correlate closely with deaths.

Saskatoon is going through the same, despite SK adopting the "Alberta model."

Never in my previous nursing experience would I have guessed that I’d have to know about shigella, measles, body lice, syphilis, and now, scurvy??? As we race back to the 1800s, I’ll need to crack open a Nightingale text. This is shameful.
