The trouble with practical jokes is that they often get elected!
In his last year on the ATP tour, Tennis Australia couldn't find a way to give Stan Wawrinka a wild card. A 3-time Grand Slam winner, including the 2014 AO. What's up with that garbage?

Imagine a person whose goal in life is to be the best in everything they do. Living in a bubble, you actually THINK you really are the best...and then there's reality, truth comes crashing down. After you're remembered as exactly the opposite -the biggest failure EVER! Might happen sooner than later

Imagine a lone in a dimension where logic has left town. A person so spectacularly clueless with a microphone to broadcast their nonsense to all of humanity. The Picasso of poor decisions… Mozart of mayhem, undefeated heavyweight champion of dumb. You’ve just crossed over into the Idiot Zone.

When greed and corruption come to light, it’s a positive thing. It allows us to address problems, exposing the damage hidden in the dark. Truth and accountability are possible—systems can be corrected, trust is rebuilt, and the people involved can no longer quietly benefit at others’ expense.

"What drives the MAGA-religious is passion, identity, and even something so transcendent that it elevates a believer’s consciousness to unshakable sublimation to the leader—there are no unforgivable transgressions, and that includes pedophilia and sexual violence."

They have a long history of falling for narcissists posing as Saviors.

Good, now Clark Kent can get his glasses back. This guy didn't know there was a hurricane season.

If you stall long enough, you'll have all the time in the world to alter documents.

Oh they can pretend it’s not a big deal and they’re right, it’s not a big deal. It turned out to be a much BIGGER deal than the polls showed. This wasn’t a blue wave, it was a tsunami and a harbinger of what’s to come.

In a World Series for the ages that went back and forth again and again, Will Smith delivered the biggest swing of all for the Los Angeles Dodgers.

The illusory truth effect is the tendency to believe false information is true after repeated exposure, even if one initially recognizes it as false. This occurs because familiarity with a statement can lead people to perceive it as more valid or truthful.

Sound familiar?

How much is too much for the current Supreme Court? They don't seem to realize the damage that's being done to the country, and if they ever do, it's going to be too late.

Everyone loves to scream "socialism doesn't work"-in Sweden, healthcare is universal, education is free, and people aren't drowning in debt. They're thriving. Sweden ranks #4 on the
2024 World Happiness Report.
It's not socialism that's the problem. It's the fear of a system that puts people first.

Along with older age comes the passing of actors and musicians who helped to define our young lives. Today, we received the sad news of the passing of John Lodge, bass player and singer for the Moody Blues. The Moody Blues were WAY ahead of their time with ethereal melodies - he will be missed 😥

The 2025 Nobel Peace Prize was awarded this morning to Venezuelan opposition leader María Corina Machado for her pro-democracy work. Well done!!!

We are not as divided as you think. Figure out exactly who’s dividing us. Start with this. Republicans control ALL 3 branches of the government. The Democrats couldn’t shut down the government even if they wanted to. Credibility and faith in the Supreme Court is nonexistent so there’s that too.

Amanda Anisimova defeats Coco Gauff 6-1, 6-2 to move into the final in Beijing. Not many players can do that to Gauff, but this day clearly belonged to Anisimova.

Are we on the verge of seeing systemic change with the leadership of the WNBA? Will the officiating be addressed so we have a level playing field next season?

Don't get too excited. It's just another hoax....and another, and another, and another, and yet another. Everything is a hoax, or someone else did it. The truth? That's just another hoax, too!

Anisimova gets her revenge for her Wimbledon double bagel loss to Swiatek, taking out the #2 seed 6-4, 6-3. She gets the winner of the Muchova/Osaka match in the semifinals. Can she go all the way and grab the U.S. Open trophy?

Do not try and bend the spoon. Instead, only try and realize the truth. Then you will see it is not the spoon that bends, it is only yourself.

Bend that damned spoon because the truth is, it needs bending and it's really there!
