I disagree with you for the above stated reasons. I think it was a bad faith question, that her response was fair, and that it wasn't about leadership.

"...who you need to win..."

That means she was asking what she intends to do to get their votes. What a politician offers people to get their votes is policies. To win over maga voters you have to offer them maga policies.

Q: Do you agree that the mayor of Chicago and governor of Illinois should be in prison?

MIKE JOHNSON: Should they be in prison? I'm not the attorney general. I'm not following the day to day on that

It's now considered controversial to fight the KKK in a video game.
Alt text: A tweet from DiscussingFilm (@DiscussingFilm) reads: “Ubisoft canceled an ‘ASSASSINS CREED’ game set in the post–Civil War era. • Featured a Black Assassin who was formerly a slave • Players would fight the emerging KKK • Leadership canceled it after concerns with U.S. political climate & Yasuke backlash.” The source link is listed as “gamefile.news/p/scoop-ubisof…”. Below the text are two images side by side: on the left, a hooded Assassin in white and red armor from the Assassin’s Creed series; on the right, the red Assassin’s Creed logo on a plain background. The tweet was posted at 4:11 PM on October 8, 2025, and has 665.8K views.

Asking a democrat why they don't change their positions to wrongheaded MAGA positions to try to win over what constitutes a minority of her electorate couldn't be stupider from both a mathematical and moral standpoint.

Asking a democrat why they don't change to be maga couldn't be more bad faith.

Trump: "I don't know what could be worse than Portland. You don't even have stores anymore. They don't even put glass up. They put plywood on their windows."

The homebase location of the reporter has no bearing on the fact that she asked asinine questions. I think the point of my comment was that it's refreshing to see a Dem not put up with bad faith bs.

California is the first state to define ultra-processed foods and phase them out of school meals.

DC politicians can talk all day about "Making America Healthy Again," but we've been walking the walk on boosting nutrition and removing toxic additives and dyes for decades.

I can't help but feel like this is all of these southern neo-confederates cos-playing their wildest "lost cause" wet dreams at the expense of Illinoisans, the guardsmen who obviously don't want to be there, and every single American tax payer's expense. And it's really pathetic.

Pritzker: "It's unconscionable. This has never happened before. They're calling out troops onto the streets of a state that doesn't want them and they're not even telling us where they're gonna go, what they're gonna do. This hasn't happened I don't think since the Civil War."

Trump started this tactic and the media let him get away with it so now all of them do it.

The immediate follow up should always be, "Why are you not aware of it!? Is your briefing team not up to informing you and does your lack of preparedness constitute a risk to your and the nation's security?"

Stephen Miller said the quiet part out loud. Trump has “plenary authority,” then suddenly went silent. Their plan wasn’t to be public yet. Clearly, someone hit the panic button in his earpiece.

It gets weirder: CNN uploaded the interview with the “plenary authority” comment edited out.

In all seriousness, these guys should be home with their families not playing commando down the Magnificent Mile.

This actually makes me like Katie Porter more and I am NOT a supporter of hers. This "reporter" is asking asinine questions in bad faith that are dumb on their face. It's actually refreshing to see a

Democrat push back on canned idiocy.

Someone who used to work with Katie Porter sent me this clip from a train wreck interview with her and said “now imagine what she’s like when there aren’t cameras around.”

I don't think it's the win he thinks it is.

Republicans are lying to the American people about the government shutdown.

It's shameful and they know it.

Under a real democracy, when you don't like the government, you go on strike. You don't go to work, but you still get paid.

Under US democracy, when your government doesn't like you, they shut down. You don't get paid, but you still have to go to work!

Any questions? 🇺🇸🤡

I’m supposed to believe both that trained and paid journalists couldn’t see through Project 2025 spin but also they’re the people best positioned to tell me what’s happening and how I should feel. Why? They failed at their jobs by their own admission.
