This exchange is so very telling.

Trump repeatedly claims the photoshopped MS-13 on Kilmar Abrego Garcia's knuckles is real, Terry Moran keeps telling him it isn't, prompting Trump to say this:

"I never heard of you. I picked you. You’re not being very nice. He had MS-13 tattooed... Just say yes!"

Trump’s nominee to run Customs and Border Protection has been accused of participating in an alleged agency cover-up after officials killed a man in the process of deporting him in 2010. Anastasio Hernández Rojas died in hospital days after border officials beat him and shocked him with a Taser.

Everyone should notice that they are VERY deliberately deporting precisely the people who are attempting to work legally within the system.

The whole line about how "I'm just against illegal immigration" is bullshit. It always was.

yup, we're back to the "nature is healing" riffs.
Today from me: President Trump is doing everything he can to raise carbon emissions. But his economic policy may end up curtailing them, at least temporarily, for reasons that no climate economist would celebrate.

How Trump May Unintentionally Cut Carbon Emissions
Despite his administration’s lack of concern about climate change, a recession would give the atmosphere a break. At least in the short term.

the thing about Trump is that he is both an inveterate liar AND is trapped in his own right-wing disinfo bubble. So with any given issue, it can be hard to know: does he not know? or is he lying?

But it the end it doesn't what the proximate cause of being full of shit is.

We have a president that is pickled in his information bubble, high on his own supply, can't tell his administration's propaganda from reality.
Next the White House will insist Trump is right!

Appropriate that we learn about it on the same day SCOTUS hears oral arguments for a case that may remove the last remaining way to hold federal agents accountable for this kind of terror.

And the system could use more people of good will and resources in any case.
