Zipcar is shutting down its UK operations, basically the only car club that worked in London. Massive kick to anyone who tries to live in capital without owning a car. Having been a customer for 17 years and used Zipvans to move house repeatedly, this is.... very bad! (Zipcar is owned by Avis)

Yet again, the UK gov chooses to subsidise the least effective way of reaching net zero. Imagine if did this for cargo bikes instead, effectively halving the price of bikes that can replace the majority of these cars - especially 2nd cars - and funding car sharing schemes instead for longer journeys

In a direct protest against the @iea.org's plea to use the custom chatbot to explore this report, I am going to read the entire thing (all 304 pages) using my actual brain, and this thread will be where I dump reactions, thoughts, notes etc as I go through it
