Always love it when I mention something from natural history in passing and a friend asks “What’s that?”, so I get to explain a little.

Last night it was ‘whalefall,’ a good excuse to share one of my favorite short films.

ohhhhh so none of them know yet that they’re not getting $50K after tax withholding, do they
I just found out last night that the $50k enrollment bonus only pays out after 5 years of service, and reader, the laugh I let out when I read that woke the dog from across the house. These absolute fucking grapes aren't seeing a dime of that money. No way they can ride out 5 years of this job.
ICE recruitment is going well.

No one "wins" in a civil war. Both sides bleed until they both cannot bear to fight any more, and by then, a lot of innocent lives have already been destroyed.

The far right has propagandized themselves into believing this will be glorious victory instead a mountain of skulls.

This is stunning. Listen to this in Philadelphia.

Thousands singing “Hey-Oh, we won’t be silent while our friends are gunned down.”

Really listen to it.

If he says “simple fact,” the next thing he says will be nuclear grade gaslighting. Every time.
