I can only handle so much, after so much I become numb but that numbness only last so long, the anger and sadness of this era hits me in time. The most infuriating part is we warned you people,
You are on their shitlist

Went to In-n-Out burger yesterday. I go by one on the way to work and it's always busy. The burger was fine, not any better than any other mid range burger place, I've had better fries at fast food places. It wasn't cheaper either. Was not worth the wait.

Why is it so popular?

Why use wings when you can just engage missile mode?
This downy woodpecker male was foraging among the spruce trees, and decide that for this short journey, wings were not needed!

About 26,875 residents across Washington state remain under an evacuation order or advisory due to flooding.
Live updates: Western Washington braces for more rain and flooding this week
Western Washington is once again bracing for heavy rain and gusting winds through Wednesday, as more atmospheric rivers arrive. More flooding is also expected as more rain pelts the region and mountain dams release water to free up reservoir space. It's once again all eyes on the Skagit River. Forecasters predict it'll crest above major flood stage in Concrete early Tuesday morning, then hit downstream in Mount Vernon that evening. Residents in an area of Auburn were given a "GO NOW" evacuation notice late on Saturday, Dec. 13 as the Green River continued to rise. A portion of SR 167 between Auburn and Kent was closed. Areas affected by heavy rainfall are at an increased risk of landslides and mudslides. Officials have advised visitors of burned areas this weekend to take extra precautions. The Trump administration on Friday approved Washington state’s appeal for federal disaster assistance, quelling some anxiety over whether the state would receive federal assistance. View KUOW's developing list of flooding resources here. See flood updates from Thursday, Dec. 11 here.

I'll throw in a bonus thread about the spiny lumpsucker, another suction-cup fish with a high cute factor, in case you missed it the first time.
The Pacific spiny lumpsucker (Eumicrotremus orbis) answers the question: "What if tiny fish, but also suction cup?"

You can see that their little fins aren't really big enough for their tiny round bodies.

They've adapted to strong currents by turning pelvic fins into a biological suction cup.

Quite a number of rattles have been unearthed in the region, some even shaped like animals.
