Nobody elected Elon Musk. So why is Trump granting him all-access powers to get rid of funding for Medicaid, Social Security and more?! We need to get Musk's hands off our money and stop the Musk takeover NOW.

I'm up for sabbatical in 2027. That's when I hope to launch a writer's retreat and residence in Detroit. Focused primarily (not exclusively) on Black children's authors & illustrators.

Do I have the money? Or a building? No, not yet!

But I do have 🙏🏿 & A Plan!

Currently up to my waist with sorting books I’m going to donate. If you have new or lightly used books consider donating to these:
- libraries- school and public (no arcs)
- foster kid programs
- women’s shelters
-little free libraries
- prisons
- schools
- your kids’ teachers

Add your ideas!

I’m sharing a Palestinian account every day and today is Walaa. Walaa’s husband Ghazi is a journalist and they have an adorable 2 year old daughter Abeer. Walaa is also pregnant and has a high risk condition that requires her to have medication every day that is quite costly.
