Mara & Rana know the habitat well—but still sometimes “lose” each other. 🐘💚 After a brief mix-up across a fence, they reunited with playful rumbles, trunk touches, and tail wags. Soon, they were off to Yard 5—side by side, as usual. Read more: globalelephants.org/...
Mara and Rana Lose Sight of Each Other
The Asian elephants have a good understanding of how the yards and fences are laid out in their habitats. They’re used to roaming from one space to another, so they know where the gates are between fenced-in areas.
