To my followers, sorry if I have been more political lately. The sovereignty and economic health of my country is under attack by my country's former best friend, and as much as I want to limit myself to posting just the fun stuff, this is the reality and being correctly informed is better.

Felt cute so hi 😜

Exactly!!! Qobuz is so much better in audio quality.

Ive listened to some songs for like 5-10 years. When I switched to Qobuz, I heard new instruments I have never heard before in the same song!

Turns out Spotify quality, even at the highest setting, was just bad.

Qobuz Family is cheaper, too!
I'd never noticed anything wrong with Spotify's audio quality, but switching to Qobuz was like getting glasses as a child and finding out the world isn't supposed to be blurry

Remember Walkerton and the changes since to ensure water safety?

“Municipalities run drinking water systems under strict rules created after the Walkerton scandal in 2,000, when contaminated water killed seven people and sickened more than 2,000.”

No privatization of our water!

"The new corporation could set water rates for municipal residents, as a privately owned, for-profit organization. Municipalities would have to transfer all their water and wastewater assets, staff, debt, contracts and infrastructure to the new body." 🤮

I dont understand why we are doing this, when solar, wind, and hydro is so much cheaper and less physically and environmentally intensive than oil and gas.

We need cheaper, cleaner, and less centralised electricity to power our future.

I agree with other things you have done, but not this one. ❌
Premier Smith and I have agreed to a framework built on shared ambitions — to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050, unlock the full potential of Alberta’s energy resources, and build a stronger, more sustainable, more competitive economy.

Exactly. Canada needs to decouple from American tech and anything American like:
1. Better Public Transport Systems
2. Changing Road signs to Vienna Convention (International road signs instead of American)
3. Stopping/banning the use of Imperial measurement (no more Freedom units on ovens)
(Cont.)
Finland uses “Russia-gauge” rails. They are going to move to European compatible rail gauge for their own resilience.

This is what we should be thinking about for moving to open social away from American platforms: it should come with significant spending commitments & is absolutely necessary.

The USA (and MAGA wannabes like Pierre Poilievre) better not touch our public broadcaster. Stay away from CBC/Radio-Canada. We love our CBC.
JD Vance blaming immigrants for Canada’s housing crisis is peak hypocrisy. The U.S. GOP broke its own housing market w/ 50-yr mortgages & Wall St landlords — now he’s importing MAGA scapegoating north while smearing CBC for telling the truth.

#BikesMeanBusiness
If only I can bike from North West Chatham to Downtown without the fear of being killed, I would.

We need more protected bike lanes in Ontario, because #BikesMeanBusiness , it is one way to reduce traffic (yay for other drivers), and it empowers individuals to travel.
WATCH: Seriously, if you’re following ANY bike-lane debate, you HAVE TO WATCH this news story. You actually can’t make this up. Ford claims without evidence that bike-lanes are bad for small business, and THE ACTUAL BUSINESS ASSOCIATION obliterates him with data.

Safe bike-lanes mean business.

Lezgo!!! I have lost 5kg and grew some muscles doing gym 4 days a week, 3-4 hours a day, that I sometimes still get surprised when I flex.

But this is how we build resistance. Let far-right/right people know that we aren't weak, both mentally AND physically; that we exist in gyms, too.

LEZGOO 💪🏼💪🏼
Strength training is political. We have a right-wing which has taken over physical fitness spaces, and hijacked “warrior culture”.

We need a muscular progressivist visions. We need to be strong to build the world we want.

Sometimes I think about the what ifs of life. What if I didn't move to Canada with my mum. Would I be in Singapore or Taiwan? Maybe stay in Manila for a bit? or would I have eventually found a job in Europe?
What would my life be like if I didn't proceed with those decisions.
Toutes les questions.

The Federal NDP really needs to do more to have a good leadership, specially as the CPC goes downward.
