The argument here is "Bosses exploit and inflame workers' prejudices in order to thwart organizing...so we should simply not have immigration."

Sounds like a foolproof plan, surely there are no other prejudices that bosses could exploit and inflame.

Without comment on the merits of ID, we need to discuss how Labour communicates who and what it stands for. If this is the big idea, that’s a big technocratic change with voters still without an understanding of ‘why Labour?’
