This is despicable from Labour. It is literally just dog-whistle theatre designed to appeal to a very narrow set of interests. It's just basic exclusionary policy that demeans and devalue people based on their life experience.

Yet another barrier that says "YOU'RE NOT WELCOME" on it.

1 - Lots of trans people have their lived gender identity on their passport
2 - Why? What's the point? What about attending a political conference relies on your birth genitals?

I attended an important event today organised by @unisonsw.bsky.social @unison.org.uk about the injustices faced by migrant health & care workers on Tier 2 visas, often amounting to modern slavery.

Adekunle and Waetsi spoke powerfully about their experiences. Government must put a stop to this.
