I have a trial painting class this afternoon. This will be my first time in an art class since highschool.... I'm surprisingly nervous.

Unlike just screaming into the void of the internet I'll have to art in front of real live people in real time. Terrifying.

The good thing about insomnia is at least i can paint uninterrupted... And, I'm not hating my early attempts as much as I was expecting to.

Feeling like hypomanic or hyperfocusing hard or something the last few days. I've written so much but i have no motivation to get it out of my journal or y'know DO anything with it. Yay for that executive dysfunction right there.

Brittle leaves blanket the ground
As life leaves it; cold and barren
Just for a while
The last gasps before the night
Just for a while
The gaps grow wider over
A deciduous decimation
Bare branches set against
A faltering sky as the colors fades away
