There’s been academic studies on this and what will probably happen is cursory coverage until there’s an incident of violence which can be used to paint the protesters as a threat at which point there will be wall to wall coverage with “they’ve gone too far” intonations throughout.

A doctor who cooperated with police when Huey P. Newton was brought into the hospital after being shot later ixnayed himself. Just putting that out there.
It’s started: ICE raided a Chicago-area hospital emergency department today and showed up at Bellevue Hospital in Manhattan last week. Share this with any health workers you know. We must know how to respond when ICE comes for our patients and coworkers.
