This Severance short gave me a terrible realization: I'm basically Irving. I have passive-aggressively printed out (and highlighted!) regulations at work, I run jokes into the ground, I desperately crave recognition, and sometimes the black ooze in my brain gets overwhelming and I leave for therapy

Wanton abuse of electronics came up in relation to the fact that when my cat knocked my MacBook Pro from 2013 off a dresser, it dented the floor, but the laptop itself was completely unharmed. I don't know if Apple still builds MBPs like tanks, but goddamn
Last night I reminded @zinco.bsky.social of the time he knocked an entire glass of koolaid on my laptop's keyboard, and he in turn reminded me of the time I dumped soda all over his GameCube, which I'd totally forgotten about. Oh, the wild escapades of youth (somehow, no electronics were harmed!)
