Small boy, seeing my little carved pumpkin 🎃 scary-faced in the window, after passing all the shops in town with plastic sparkly Halloween decorations:
Mummy, Mummy! Look a real live pumpkin!

A wonderful day, discovering more about the archaeology in my piece of woodland. A local guy knows *a lot* about it. I've invited him and his archaeologist friend to dig again, to establish the route of a prehistoric hill fort track

Something amazing.
Dr Consultant, with new Dr in tow, came to me & ward Administrator, and, introduced new Dr to us!
New Dr even shook hands with us!
Me & WA have been a wee bit low at work recently.
Dr Consultant, not for the 1st time, treated us like humans.
It's the little things, kids, really.

Hiya
I got signed out of my account for a while.
I'm a bit fed up because I injured my back and recovery is painful. I was happy to be able to work 3 days, after getting help from my osteopath, & my acu. But I need more tomorrow. Ouch

I've found the transition into Spring hard this year.
Some awful days are over, and I've had a great time at work today.
When you truly register that your patients are well and they are recommending you as a practitioner, that lifts the spirit so much.

Incredible from Bishop Budde: "We don't have to go to the highest extremes of contempt when we are in a position of disagreement. I think if we could get that back as a country, we would go a long way in being able to work together to address the many problems that we face." ~AA @maddow.msnbc.com

I’m worried that the exodus from Meta and Twitter is what they want. To isolate us from each other.

Isolation is a big part of autocracy. It makes people easier to lie to and abuse.

I don’t have a global answer, but I am working on building a social media space for our podcast listeners.

When I opened my laptop, the screen was flipped upside down. A cat once did this so I knew vaguely how to fix it, but the advice I found online didn’t work so I contacted our tech guy. He said I’m the fourth person since Monday this has happened to, after the latest Windows 11 update. Good update

I've set up a temporary working space after a contractor's van drove over my boyfriend's e motorbike and into a neighbour's car. I've driven him to his pool and gym centre so that he can now relax, as he had planned to do before this stress!
