Not every day my home town gets called out in a song:

> Take me out to the #Werribee Sewage Treatment Plant
> Show me the birds, maybe name each one for me
> Kiss me down by the Werribee Sewage Treatment Plant
> Those birds will sing us a sunset symphony

Just for perspective, a few weeks ago roughly 100,000 turned up for the London Trans+ Pride march. By contrast fewer than 3,000 ACROSS THE WHOLE COUNTRY, have turned up to anti-asylum "protests". Yet we are meant to take the latter as "the voice of the people" and the former as "the minority".

These days when I talk about #LongCovid I get the question whether it’s still a thing? Yes, it definitely is! and its absence from the post-pandemic public health agenda will come to haunt us in the future.

The most common chronic condition in American children👇

Why are so many children getting long COVID?
A study by Researching COVID to Enhance Recovery (RECOVER) last year found that up to 5.8 million American children now have long COVID.

My phone just told me that geomagnetic conditions are great for being able to see an aurora right now.

Despite my best efforts, I’m not having much luck.

With its latest act of conflict escalation, Israel is quite deliberately trying to prevent any chance of negotiation. Yet even now the UK Government won't acknowledge Israel's government as a threat, but actively trains & resources their military.

Does anyone else remember the idea of micropayments? I’d be happy to pay $0.50 or even $1 to read an interesting article. I’m not at all interested in paying $4 for a four-week subscription that re-bills at $10 every four weeks after that. Even if I can cancel my subscription at any time.

Conversion practices are cruel, abusive, and have no place in a modern Scotland.

The Scottish Govenrment promised action all the way back in 2021, but have only given us excuses.

This puts LGBT+ people at continued risk of long-lasting harm. The decision must be reversed.

The evolution of Sainsbury’s Scottish Smoked Mackerel packaging is very disappointing. How am I supposed to recognise anything as a Scottish product without a tam o’ shanter and a sporran?!
