Actually, they almost certainly lost money on seeming to be closely aligned with a prominent Democratic politician. All of the companies that ever dealt with Hunter probably wish they'd spent it on anything else.

It's also always worth pointing out that nothing Hunter was trying to do worked! The only time he actually ever got a "rich quick" success it was ... being arguably overpaid on a corporate board. He wasn't laundering money or raking in millions. He was just standard overpaid.

To be clear, and as has been in the case in every single story in the Hunter Biden genre, the breaking news here is "Hunter Biden had an idea for a business that failed."

There was vacant land in a seemingly valuable location in Bucharest (next to a huge embassy). He tried to buy it and didn't.
