I had the exact same reaction. The guy at the counter asked if something was wrong when I looked at the bill and I just said “it’s less than I expected.” He said they get that a lot.

The conservatives are all total zeros.
Not even interesting in the lane they are in.

Last week, new WaPo opinion editor Adam O'Neal quietly carried out another purge of staffers, cutting editors and major names like Marc Fisher and David Hoffman, among others.

Meanwhile, he welcomed three conservatives to the section.

Adam O’Neal says he’s bringing “intellectual diversity” to The Washington Post’s opinion pages—but the moves he’s making behind the scenes tell a different story.

If we survive this period in American history, nobody in the future will believe "the former vice-president's adult son tried and failed several investments from 2017-2019" ended up being the defining political story in all of our lifetimes.

Hey, couple of quick questions.

First, what year is it? Second, who was president in 2017?

NEW: In 2017, Hunter Biden pursued a deal to sell land around the US Embassy in Romania, & possibly the land on which the embassy sat, to a joint venture that included a Chinese government-linked company.

The venture, & the Chinese company, collapsed.

"I bet having this guy on our board would actually pay off net-net, right?"

Actually, they almost certainly lost money on seeming to be closely aligned with a prominent Democratic politician. All of the companies that ever dealt with Hunter probably wish they'd spent it on anything else.
craigipedia.bsky.social
The intense animosity that a large number of Elite Reports have toward the Biden family, specifically, is very bizarre.
craigipedia.bsky.social
It's also always worth pointing out that nothing Hunter was trying to do worked! The only time he actually ever got a "rich quick" success it was ... being arguably overpaid on a corporate board. He wasn't laundering money or raking in millions. He was just standard overpaid.
craigipedia.bsky.social
To be clear, and as has been in the case in every single story in the Hunter Biden genre, the breaking news here is "Hunter Biden had an idea for a business that failed."

There was vacant land in a seemingly valuable location in Bucharest (next to a huge embassy). He tried to buy it and didn't.

Bari Weiss tried *extremely* hard to get cancelled and failed, so instead quit in a huff, hoping that would be enough to earn her a seat at the right wing dark money trough with all the other little piggies. It worked
mmasnick.bsky.social
It's amazing how everyone supporting her seems to forget she wasn't cancelled at all. She quit. And almost immediately was able to launch this new publication. How the hell was she cancelled?

Some people criticized shitty takes. That's not being cancelled.
elivalley.bsky.social
As one of the countless people *actually* cancelled by Bari Weiss, via her vast favor-trading networks of fellow nepotistic gatekeepers in media and publishing, I think both of these asinine dipshits should go fuck themselves.
