Even if you scrub it from the internet, it's still happening IRL.
It appears that the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has, within the past week, scrubbed a large amount of climate change content from its official website, as well as *removed human-caused warming* from the discussion on its "causes of climate change" page.

Thank you, ‪@hickenlooper.senate.gov for being the first Senator to publicly oppose the nomination of Sell-off Steve Pearce to be Director of the Bureau of Land Management! Our public lands are not for sale.

📢 Call your Senators to urge them to vote NO on "Sell Off Steve" Pearce: 1-855-980-5638
Americans need a real steward for our public lands. Steve Pearce, Trump’s pick to lead the BLM, isn’t one.

He opposed environmental protections and pushed to sell public lands when he was in Congress.

Our public lands are NEVER for sale. I'm a NO on his nomination.

I don’t know about you, but removing historical truths and art from museums, appointing yourself the head of a national theater, using secret police to illegally arrest people, operating mass detention camps, and banning free speech media sounds a lot like 1930s brown shirt behavior to me.

Happy #WorldWildlifeDay! It’s no secret that the creatures we share our planet with are in trouble—now more than ever. But the good news? It is super easy to help! Donations to local and global conservation groups, like @worldwildlife.org, go a long way. Even just $5.

Joe Monninger was the first writer/writing teacher who told me I could be a writer. He taught me how to observe the world and get it on the page.

His own writing often reflected humanity’s relationship to nature and one another.

He was a great friend and mentor.

I will miss him infinitely.

I wrote about a brief encounter with wildfires in Canada and why climate change is accelerating their devastation.

President Carter believed in human rights, nature, and the arts. His contributions to all before, during, and after his presidency are a testament to how he viewed his role in his community and our country. We need more leaders like that.

I guess I’m glad the Enron rebrand and ad campaign is a parody because I don’t have the energy for it.

I always feel sort of empty after a holiday where I have the privilege to be surrounded by family and friends for a long weekend. There are so many conversations, jokes, warmth, and snacks in every room.

Now the people have gone and it’s too quiet. The kind of quiet that makes it hard to focus.
