Agreed. We desperately need to rescue political atheism not only from the reactionary atheists but from a left which views atheism as politically untouchable. Atheism and anti-clericalism are going to be necessary in a world of rising fascist theocracy.
You'll notice similar cultural relativist arguments were deployed to antifeminist ends but I'm kind of tired of pretending that acting like atheism is Western and cringe and conservative by default had no effect on the cultural normalisation of refusing to criticise religious fundamentalism.

I've often found myself frustrated by anti-atheist arguments because it feels like every time someone says 'actually christianity is bad' there's this thing where through twitter alchemy everyone starts discoursing about how reddit atheism is wrong and how we need to protect marginalized religions.

wavering over picking up birdcage. the demo kind of put me off. in particular, i found the bullet patterns lacking; it seemed like every other enemy just released a static circle of bullets and called it a day. there weren’t enough aimed bullet patterns to create a sense of flow/push and pull
