On the subject of "Selling Out," this post by @tbquirk.bsky.social (lead singer of Too Much Joy, one of the fabbest bands) links to a really excellent essay about what doing a Bud ad did for him and his band, and the relationship between advertisements and band music sales. Fascinating stuff.
(I learned these lessons when my bandmates outvoted me and agreed to do a Budweiser radio jingle. I objected vehemently. I was very wrong to do so, as my daughter would not exist, otherwise. Our Budwesier deal was FAR fairer than our Warner Bros. contract.)

Hoping that since this is no longer an invitation only platform, Bluesky will overtake Threads in users and posts. The latter is unusable without an option to disable auto videos.
