All the stuff coming out about AAA studios and AI is very disheartening so I think next year I am gonna use the stream to highlight indie and retro games. No big budget titles, no new releases, just cool indie games and games of the past I want go play for the first time.

I hope there's enough pushback that Vincke reconsiders his position. I would really like to enjoy the great work all the devs at Larian are doing without upper management forcing this unnecessary shit into their workflow.

“Oh I only used AI for placeholders or idea starters” does not make it better! If you are using it for any part of the creative process then you’re no longer doing the process!
"placeholder text" "concept art" either the temporary thing you put in matters to the process, in which case you need to get a human to work on it, or it doesn't, in which case you can just as easily put a bright pink rectangle that says PLACEHOLDER in and save everyone time and effort
