Bigotry is not a valid alternate viewpoint.

Since it's that time of the year, if you live in the Northeast, saying:

"I don't need winter tires. I just drive slow."

Is logically equivalently to saying:

"I don't need winter boots. I just walk slow."

There's a reason all season tires are called no season tires.

A reminder that no matter what the Trumpers tell you, the only reason to vote for the overt white supremacist running on a Nazi platform was because he's a white supremacist running on a Nazi platform.

Never forget these people, and never forgive them.
Not even a year and they've committed war crimes, while Trump keeps freeing hardened criminals from prison.

Everyone who voted for this abomination is responsible.

Looking at all the steps and restrictions on setting up family sharing on Steam for me and my wife, and maybe I just go on eBay and see if I can buy an old Arari and some old games instead.

Me: Uh, Amazon, I have absolutely no idea where this picture was taken, but it is not my house.

Amazon: Did you search around your neighborhood for the package? Maybe it's somewhere on your street?

Me: How about you just go back to wherever this is, collect it, and do your job?

To give you an idea of how "AI" has fucked up the holiday season, their insane demand for RAM chips that's barely even being used has caused a production drought for every other application.

Meaning right now you can buy a cheap PC, yank the RAM, and sell it on eBay for twice what the PC costs.

Saving this post cos the dunks are great reading & will give me life when we have to endure yet another instance of AI boosterism/cheerleading at work
Is this platform still massively against AI or has it moved more towards acceptance?

I just want to thank the people using AI to cheat during remote interviews for making in-person technical interviews a requirement now. Great job on making remote interviews useless now. Hope you have traveling on site for interviews in your budget! Great job!

One of my favorite things about Teams is how the little dots will go back and forth for five minutes as someone types in a response like they're writing a book, and then the response will be:

"Yes."

In case the Democratic Party needed any more proof that the future of the party is Mamdani and they can either get the fuck on board or get the fuck out of the way

Black folk aren't as concerned about Trump the individual as white folk are. We're not.🤷🏿‍♂️

Because a lot of white folk in the US view Trump as the problem. They think he changed how white people think.

No.

Black folk know that the racism was always there. Trump just let them take the mask off.

Make this go viral so every member of the House of Representatives sees it.

Update: I reordered the item, it arrived at the local shipment center, and after several delays it still couldn't make it the last 10 miles to my house. So I canceled it again and ordered it from a competitor. This is an item Amazon makes and sells, that I had to go elsewhere to get.

Epic fail.
I've been dealing with Amazon over a shipment issue, and it really is something how customer service, especially with companies that pride themselves as being tech based, has become purely transactional.

I was walking in to work today from the parking garage and witnessed two guys across the street almost come to blows, and I don't think it can be overstated just how triggering that kind of public violence is.

This right here.
If your company has work that can be done from home but requires people to come in, that's a failure of leadership, not proximity.

What we consider serious must be redefined. 'Women's issues', like sexual abuse, are not actually considered serious. If they were, the world would be unrecognizable. Even though 'women's issues' are often the subtext of war, economies, politics and other subjects that are treated with gravity.
It all would have been much easier if, as would have happened if we were remotely a serious country, it all ended with the Access Hollywood interview.

This right here. I register as a Dem in NY but vote WFP. If I register as WFP then I can't vote in the Dem primary.
Hey, a lot of people are talking about changing affiliation from Democratic to Independent.

Let me tell you why you shouldn’t do that in Colorado.

One of the main ways to get a primary challenge candidate on a ballot is to caucus for your party. You need to be registered as a Dem to caucus.

Lots of hard, shitty lessons being learned from this presidency. And one of the many I hope you're learning is, white supremacy is incompatible with reality, and cannot exist without historical revisionism.
1/ The US Government has quietly removed a memorial to Black soldiers who died in World War II from the Netherlands American Cemetery in Margraten, South Limburg. The move follows a complaint from the right-wing Heritage Foundation to the American Battle Monuments Commission. ⬇️
