Just watched Spongebob the Search for Square pants earlier today. It was entertaining but not a good movie. It was funny but it had little heart. It had cute references but retconned and ignored quite a bit. It's themes aren't new and the main themeatic lesson was done in the first SB movie better.

I am struggling with what might be a generational experience. The gulf war was pretty politically formative for me. It’s not history so much as memory this time.
It is destabilizing to see almost the exact same gameplan but this time without the guardrails that at the time I took for granted.

This war and extra-judicial kidnapping is patently illegal and unconstitutional. Political leaders on both sides must condemn it. It’s not about whether Maduro is a tyrant but whether the US is still governed by laws and the Constitution. As if this morning, we are clearly not.

The last 2 episodes of Fionna and Cake season 2 are really really good especially the last episode don't have too much spoiler thoughts tho. Kinda liked the second season more cus it was more about Fionna while the first was qbout Fionna but also Simon. (The Simon stuff was peak tho)
