Attended the "Ice Out of Our Barrio" event this Saturday put on by Latinos Unidos Siempre. An ofrenda was built to honor those who died by injustice. Amazing performances, sharing latino culture, brought beauty too these tough times.

We want this #shutdown to end as much as anyone, but giving in to promises of a future vote on ACA subsidies is weak sauce. The House pen won’t even allow it and we can do this shutdown dance again in January. 😩
