I’m sure there’s mixed opinions but the feds and local/state police have visibly not been getting along great
Can’t even imagine how much most local cops must hate ICE/CPB. Making their jobs 1000x harder and throwing fed status in their face nonstop.

there’s this contingent of leftists on here who continue to argue that I’m not trustworthy because I’m not willing to burn my own city in a campaign of expressive violence against fascism, but I can’t notice that you’re not lighting your own house on fire
yeah we wouldn't want angry crowds confronting fascists.
One thing the Minneapolis police have become VERY good at is deescalation. If there’s an angry crowd, the police basically evaporate. If you walk a few blocks you’ll see them, but they’ve learned being invisible calms things down.

Problem is, everything in life is a popularity contest, convincing yourself otherwise doesn't make it go away. If people like you, they are more likely to do what you want or give you leeway if you do something wrong.
