De novo metastatic breast cancer 2023. Still yearn for my horse riding cycling self but found a new normal in this chaos. Hispanophile. #cansky #oncosky

Sorry, we promised not to post much today but we had to make a special callout. We forgot to give a proper shoutout to a few places yesterday. Denver and Dallas Fort Worth, you broke records. You were incredible.

To the world:
We are fighting back. Our movement has been silenced by the media here—but we are not backing down. This is what our streets looked like across multiple cities. Tomorrow, there will be more of us! Raise a glass to freedom.

Never forget, a 13-year study found that protected bike-lanes led to a drastic decline in fatalities for all road users.

ALL ROAD USERS.

And painted bike-lanes? No safety improvement at all.

For sharrows, it’s actually safer to NOT have them.

Anyone who knew before, will know I used to love cycling. Because of my fragile bones I no longer do it. My goodness I miss it. Still can’t bear to part with my beautiful bike.

My friend’s mother got polio the year before the vaccine. Whilst she has had a long life, she has been a wheelchair user since she was 21 & got secondary polio in her 50. I know she would have preferred not to have had polio.

Any suggestions for names for our metastatic breast cancer group? We’ve hit a wall - quite fancy a catchy acronym but not inspired #cansky #oncosky

This is my position too exacerbated by the fact that I work in the often ignored social care sector.
I am very tired of our bizarre conversation about the NHS which simultaneously treats the doctors and nurses as deities to be worshipped while also being very aware of its many failures

Two years ago this very day I was told rather unceremoniously in a corridor that I had stage 4 cancer as I had cancer on my liver and spine, no other information. I spent the next month preparing to die.
