Mentioned thinking of getting a tattoo to my mom and for the first time ever I felt like I was being judged. My parents have been pretty easy going people most of my life that have let me grow and find my own path but apparently my mom draws the line at getting a tattoo.

I think I snagged a good haul from the steam sale (so far), I just have to get over my anxiety about spending money. That anxiety is the only reason I have enough money to go back to school at (near) middle age, lol.

The White House claims the vote to rename the Kennedy Center was “unanimous.” That is false. I was muted on the call and denied the opportunity to speak or register my opposition. That is not consensus. That is censorship.

My therapist and I had a nice conversation about me living a life of a creative and the only thing I really took from it was the need for Universal Basic Income.

And yet I have to struggle to convince my grandmother he's a terrible person and people are legitimate in their hatred of the man.

The thing is either we regulate the guns or we provide support for the mentally ill. Unfortunately Republicans will refuse them both.

Fuck America, I guess.

I am convinced America crossed an event horizon thirteen years ago, when even the deaths of elementary school aged children at the hands of a monster weren't enough for their government to say "enough is enough". Hard not to think that Americans would rather have their guns over their children.

With the exception of Mega Man, I wasn't really captivated by any of the premieres at The Game Awards, and I don't even like Mega Man all that much.

Contemplating getting my first tattoo: three Zelda hearts, each filled when certain aspects of love are reached. First, love for myself. Second, love for my partner. Third, love for my child/children.

Only thing stopping me is the pain. That, and my grandma will think I'm on the drugs.

Well. Lost my 4.0. Honestly, I'm kinda just glad it's over. The class was not enjoyable.

Had to finalize my last history essay while feeling like absolute crap. Not too worried about it, but it would be nice to get an A and keep my 4.0

Trump has painted a target on the backs of Somali Americans in Minneapolis 👇🏽

If you see this, repost with your model of positive masculinity.

Add to this: Raul Julia
I have four positive male role models I think every masculine person should admire:
1. Fred Rogers
2. Jim Henson
3. Gene Kelly
4. Bruce Lee

I hold them as exemplars in their respective fields until given reason they shouldn't be admired.

Movie you've watched more than 6 times with a gif. Hard mode: No Star Wars/Trek, LOTR, or Marvel

I'm tempted to get the AYN Thor so I can replay all my favorite handheld titles (huge handheld gamer when I was young), but the biggest hurdle I face is the legality of emulators and ROMs. Agreed: if buying is not owning then piracy is not stealing. But I'm Lawful Good by nature. Urgh.

Doesn’t this rhetoric sound familiar?

In 1947, the U.S. Army released "Don't Be a Sucker" to show how a nation can be divided, reminding Americans that prejudice isn't natural and is created by those who gain from it.
