Bondi terrorism delivers dive in journalism standards
The Bondi attack has been cynically repurposed to advance an immigration narrative that collapses under even basic factual scrutiny.

Out of 87 assignments I am grading, I made it to #4 before finding a list of fake references with DOIs that link to papers in completely different topics. Grading will now take at least twice as long.

Thanks again tech bros.

While we are still a long way from the PM’s promise to get net migration back to pre-pandemic levels, the rubbish being produced by the Daily Mail & the Coalition plucking net migration targets out of thin air don’t help public understanding of the issue.
Why the Daily Mail is wrong on net migration in 2024-25
Despite sensationalist claims, a close analysis of visa trends, movement data and ABS estimates shows net migration in 2024–25 is significantly lower than reported.

might as well cut the 2026 ads now about how every Republican member of Congress gave their total and unreserved backing to the Trump tariffs.
Good day to remember that a US President has no inherent power over tariffs whatsoever. It’s not like war powers or pardons. It’s entirely delegated by Congress to deal with emergencies. GOP Congress cld modify that law tonight and bring this to a screeching halt.
