The idea of framing this vainglorious billionaire lot as modern day versions of the gritty, hard-bitten, working class, manual laborers who, for a pittance of wages, risked their lives and used their hands to make real the skyscraper dreams of the wealthy and middle classes is….lunacy.

I'm glad to see the Ohio Nurses Association fighting back against the new federal student loan deprofessionalization proposal. Reclassifying these degree programs would add yet another strain on an already stretched workforce and put a greater burden on students.

If @sbworkersunited.org receive the same sort of support that the public gave @jimmykimmel.com, or even a fraction of the energy behind an @indivisible.org demonstration, these Baristas might be able to begin to win things for people that many Democratic Senators, for instance, can’t or won’t.
Many of us start our days with coffee. Let the coffee makers lead the way to start much bigger things too!!!
