This Earth Day let us remember that ultimately its not the earth that needs saving, it is us, the planet will be fine through climate change, we will not, new species will evolve to deal with it, we will not. Need to stop framing this as some virtuous savior project it's a Save Your Own Ass Day

okay, we chased around the clouds a bit and even saw totality come and go thru the cloud deck, and we missed out on some of the clear sky features I remember from last time... but I am right pleased with this picture
