Keir Starmer needs to wake up and fix our broken voting system before the next election, or he risks letting Nigel Farage into Number 10.

We will keep fighting for fair votes to make sure every voice is heard.

The resignations of Tim Davie and Deborah Turness must be an opportunity for the BBC to turn a new leaf, rebuild trust and resist those like Nigel Farage who want to destroy it

We must stand up for a strong, independent BBC, to stop Trump’s America becoming Farage's Britain.

This Remembrance Sunday, we remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

We must never forget them — nor can we forget the veterans and serving personnel who continue to protect our freedom.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, we all waited for science to catch up. We waited for a vaccine, for hope.

When it finally arrived, the world changed almost overnight.

With HIV, TB and malaria, we don’t have to wait. The science is already there. The treatments already exist.

It’s outrageous that someone who sexually abuses an animal isn’t automatically put on the sex offenders register.

We know that people who abuse animals are far more likely to go on to commit domestic abuse and even to abuse children. 🧵

Today is One Health Day!

Animal, human and environmental health are inseparable — and the science is clear that we must take a joined-up approach.

Today my thoughts are with everyone affected by the dreadful attack near Huntingdon - the victims, their loved ones, and everyone who witnessed it. We're all hoping those injured make a full recovery.

Grateful to the passengers and emergency services who showed such bravery.

You can’t build good mental health on unstable foundations.

Debt, housing insecurity, domestic abuse, and insecure work are too often the roots of mental ill health. 🧵

I really welcome this. Scaling up our military strength is not just about tanks and ships.

It is also about morale.

Our troops could be asked to put their lives on the line to protect us. The least we can do is give them somewhere decent to live.

We just defeated Nigel Farage’s Bill in Parliament to tear up people’s rights and withdraw from the ECHR.

Farage wants to do away with the Britain Churchill built and turn it into a version of Trump's America. We stopped him.

Political parties that deny climate change exists are no friends of farmers.

They are paving the way for deeper losses and long-term damage to British farming.

Parents tell me every single week about how hard they have to fight to get the SEND provision that their child is entitled to. I asked the Government what steps they're taking to ensure that Education, Health and Care Plans are issued in a timely manner.

The Tories can shout at me all they like, but the truth is their Brexit deal it is hurting our country and Labour won’t do anything about it.

Today I urged the Prime Minister to actually fix it.

People who have come to the United Kingdom legally, played by the rules and made it their home do not need to “go home”. This is their home.

I've written to Kemi Badenoch to give her the chance to reject these divisive calls from her frontbencher Katie Lam.

The mess left by the Conservatives is finally being confronted. Thanks to continued @libdems.org.uk pressure on both the Government and the water companies, we’re seeing progress.

But there's so much more to do.

🎖️ Veterans who experience mental ill health deserve understanding and tailored care.

We’re calling for a Veterans’ Mental Health Oversight Officer — to ensure joined-up support, compassion and accountability across the system.

We owe our veterans more than gratitude — we owe them proper support.

Absolutely colossal night of success for the Lib Dems.

In the 10 byelections, the LDs have gained from the CONs, GRNs, INDs and LAB, with a narrow loss to REF by 31 votes in Babergh.

Scoreboard: LD 7, REF 1, CON 1, IND 1.

I assume the media will cover this as breathlessly as every opinion poll?

I joined Mighty Convoy in driving 5 ambulances filled with medical aid to Ukraine - a journey I will never forget.

Britain has backed Ukraine since this war began - and it is vital that we continue to do so.

Thank you to all volunteers who drive equipment to Ukraine to help with the war effort!
