Labor is recognising the Greens were right all along to call for an immediate and unconditional ceasefire.

But tragically, it's one year too late.

Tens of thousands of people have been killed in Gaza in the meantime.

"Nuclear energy solves so many political problems without solving any real-world problems.

No wonder the government & Coalition love to fight about it.

It’s a fantastic distraction from their bipartisan support for fossil fuel expansion & subsidies."

Try posting the same thing on Twitter and Bluesky and compare that stats after a day.

Twitter feels like a lame horse.

Tweets don't tweet.
Despite being on Twitter for a decade and on Bluesky (actively) for a few weeks, if the current trend continues, I will have more followers here than on Twitter within a couple of weeks. Insane when comparing this to a DECADE

Fuxk the Labor party. We voted for change and got more of the same. Our PM talks about how he grew up poor but fails to acknowledge the steps ups he revived no longer exist. I.e Free education and public housing.
Albo went to Coward Lachlan Murdoch's Xmas Party a couple of days ago, what does that tell you ?

Fixing concentrated media CB political propaganda entities in Australia should have been Labor’s immediate task on winning 2022 election. Whilst they had political capital to do so. What a waste of golden opportunity of a sea of red states across mainland.

We had the same conversation with him before the last election in Innisfail FNQ, when the partition for an enquiry into Murdoch was running hot.
His answer was, "Why do that?we will just properly fund the ABC."

I have learned a few things in my time on this earth. Not many, but a few.

I have learned that western regime change interventionism is reliably disastrous, and that men like John Bolton and Bill Kristol are always on the wrong side of history when it comes to such matters.

These are all facts. Proper contextual facts that put the Israel prime minister’s statement in the proper light. Australia’s UN vote returned it to a) supporting the law and b) a position held for most of post-war history and c) was supported by most of the world

Cowardice like every ALP leader before him. I have had this exact conversation with these leaders for years and explained that media reform is THE most important first step fix our system and every single one baulks at it.

Fear of losing status is real.

There is a thread which runs through all of these neolib policies throughout western democracies and if you don't think it's going to get worse without strong, united and committed pushback, you're not paying enough attention.
It’s a dark day for research in Aotearoa New Zealand and the ramifications for the country are huge. Minister Judith Collins has just announced our blue-skies funder will no longer fund humanities & social science research and that 50% of what is funded must have economic benefit.

You can't be anti-racist and pro-Israel; they are mutually contradictory positions. Israel is an apartheid state, arguably the most racist society on this planet. If you support Israel you support racism, whether you admit this about yourself or not.
