They are too stupid to realize "Black Friday" got it's name from old paper ledgers. Stores tended to operate in the red ink (at a loss) until the Friday after Thanksgiving when they finally hit black ink (made a profit). I love the random things my Grandma taught me.

Effing stupid this
The Aukus nuclear submarine deal and Australia’s involvement in military conflicts will be considered by a secretive new committee of federal parliament, dubbed a “closed shop” by the Greens over plans to exclude minor parties and independents.
Everything else is s**t

Albanese Ley to decide members of ‘secret’ new committee set to scrutinise Aukus –but Greens excluded
No more than seven government MPs will b appointed but Greens and independents will not be included

I was just thinking about contributing to the "charity" Feeding America. Until I discovered that the salary for its CEO, Claire Babineaux-Fontenot, was approximately $949,866 in 2024, with her total compensation being $1,113,502. Apparently, feeding America isn't her top priority.

How can @albomp.bsky.social and his @australianlabor.bsky.social Govt seriously look Australian and in the eye, and pledge its proposed environmental legislation is actual reform, when it’s separately horse trading with the LNP and the Greens offering two different sets of ‘concessions’.

My white card is useless and I can’t get mental health care because no one will accept the abysmal rate. It’s also not legal to pay a gap with a white card so it’s take it or leave it. So thousands of veterans have a card that’s literally a broken promise for serving their country.
Lest we forget.

I honestly feel that labor is way worse than the libs. The libs were at least honest to your face they hated the poor, the disabled, the arts and science. I honestly want to box Albos ears if I have to hear one more time how poor her grew up because little Albo today would be FUCKED.
That's more than 1,100 jobs lost at the CSIRO over the last two years.

"Combined, the staff association estimates that equates to cutting the agency’s size by a third."

This is more cuts to the CSIRO than was attempted by the Abbott government.
