Saw the #WreckingCrew. Didn't expect much, but Bautista and Mamoa were a fun pairing! Well defined characters and a good backstory made this action movie more interesting than most. And the violence was... creative. Worth a watch if you like action/comedy.

Minnesota National Guard members have arrived at a federal building and were directed to distribute donuts, coffee, and hot chocolate to anti-ICE protesters. Guard members were issued reflective vests so they would not be mistaken for federal agents.

As a broadcaster myself, I'm dumbfounded when I see a TV news anchor bringing the exact wrong energy to a story that begins with the death of a U.S. citizen. Could she be more disconnected from what's going on?

But it rings hollow, because that USA has been taken away from us. I wonder how many feel the same during that ritual. And how many r blind.

The term “law enforcement” should not be used by media, except perhaps in quotations. It has sadly become an Orwellian term that is used to magically sanctify violence. Language matters. Be specific. Describe individuals with names and ranks. Say exactly what they did. Don’t repeat fascist hocum.
